Scott Zuppan has over 15 years of project management experience covering private commercial, owner/builder residential and federal construction.  He has been involved in variety of project types including hospitality renovations, groundup, mixed-use, residential, concrete parking structures, office tennant improvements, historical renovations,  senior care renovations, medical facility renovations, amusement park facility improvements, and various Department of Defense Military projects.

Scott’s experience as a project manager has ranged from working for the largest homebuilder in the Nation to a small 8A general contractor.  Scott has participated in over 100 projects valued at approximately $150 million while working for local and national brands such as Sea World, Hoehn Motors, Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego Soccers, Nobel House Hotels, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Camp Pendleton, and the National Park Service.

Scott has expertise in all facets of project management, including pre-construction activities, procurement, permitting, estimating, contract negotiation, budgeting, construction, contract reconciliation and decommissioning and relocation. Scott specializes in problem solving, efficient communication and day-to-day project management operations.

During the initial stages of a project, Scott’s scope of services includes due diligence, scheduling, budgeting, design team selection, design management, value engineering, estimating, constructability review, entitlements and permitting. Once design and permitting are complete, Scott then handles bidding and management of the construction process, including construction observation, change order review, budget management, document control, schedule monitoring and recovery planning, FF&E installation management and occupancy.

Scott graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  He is also a licensed Class B contractor in the State of California.  Scott and his wife, Jen, live in Carlsbad and have two children.  He and his family spend most of their weekends at the beach.  He also enjoys watching sports, camping, fishing, and enjoying the mountains.
