On Friday, UCSD Associate Vice Chancellor for Public Programs and Dean of Extension Mary Walshok, shared renderings and her vision for ’ Project team on Friday. This exciting project is a 4-story, 60,000 sq ft fit out for UCSD’s Extension staff. The building features a large event lobby, critical listening sound theater, performance theater, an open spiral staircase, classrooms, and open workstations. Located on Market St. and Park Blvd, this exciting project will give UC San Diego a downtown presence and will have the ability to host mid-size events and theater productions and is located across from the Park and Market Trolley Station.
