Gilliland CM is thrilled to announce the completion of the HQ Executive Briefing Center at Teradata’s San Diego offices. GCM provided full project management services, including GC selection, design management, permitting, bidding and construction management for the build out of approximately 20,000sf. The project included a custom LED light sculpture that represents lines of communication within the internet. The main lobby showcases Teradata’s many service lines via interactive Video Vignette’s. This project is utilized as a reception and presentation area, highlighting the high-tech services Teradata provides to their customers. One of the challenges during the project is that it occurred in the middle of a global pandemic. Covid-19 presented several unique issues related to on-site construction personnel as well as material delays and labor shortage. Even with these unprecedented challenges, the project team was able to complete the project on time and deliver a finished space that is a showcase for Teradata.
