The East Block Multi-Family Housing Project is going vertical! Gilliland Construction Management is providing project oversight and management for this 195 unit multi-family project in the City Heights neighborhood. The project consists of 117 Low Income Senior Housing units and 78 two and three bedroom Low Income Family housing units. The 5-story structures will include the individual units, multipurpose rooms, community rooms, town square, patios, gardens and a play area. The project has been designed by world-renowned Rob Wellington Quigley Architects. Emerson Construction Company, Inc is the general contractor and work is slated to be complete in August 2022. The project includes one level of underground parking. The GC is in the process of pouring the slab on grade for the parking garage with the pours complete by February 1st 2021. The target is slated to have the main level of Podium Deck poured by March 4th 2021. We are very exciting to see this project going vertical!
