Working closely with the design and construction team, Gilliland Construction Management represented the Owner overseeing the construction of a large tenant improvement in the Mission Valley area. The project is approximately 76,000sf in an existing two-story commercial building and was substantially complete on September 17th 2020. The project was a complete remodel of the interior of the building throughout with new electrical and mechanical systems including new HVAC package units on the roof. The TI included new flooring, ceilings, millwork, lighting and new restrooms on both floors. The main entry and lobby encompasses a double height clear space with mirrored wall paneling, surface mount light fixtures and herringbone patterned LVT flooring throughout. The design accommodates large open office areas at both floors, with some interior private offices, a large break room/lounge area on the first floor and conferencing areas. The project also includes the installation of a new generator for back-up power to the critical IT network infrastructure for the offices.
