Gilliland CM has experience working with owners and developers to reposition or upgrading existing buildings. Gilliland CM acted as the CM on the San Diego Tribune building repositioning now known at Amp&rsand. This project included interior demolition and remodel of both the 5-story, 163,000 s.f. office tower and the 3-story, 168,000 s.f. printing press building.  The office tower was taken back to a cold shell and then new HVAC systems, electrical systems, core restrooms and elevator lobbies were built.  In addition, the main entrance was relocated, and a new main lobby was constructed to serve the entire campus. For another client, we assisted on a 3-buildling office complex reimage known as Oberlin Tech. The existing improvements were demolished and then replaced with all new site work. Key components included Epi wood shade structures and benches, fire features, new ADA sidewalks, new irrigation and new drought tolerant landscaping. If you are looking to reposition or upgrade an existing building, we have the experience and knowledge to help!
